The Solar System Ambassadors program is a public engagement effort that works with motivated volunteers across the nation to communicate the science and excitement of NASA’s space exploration missions and discoveries to the people in their communities.

As a Solar System Ambassador (SSA), “Astro Skye” has the fortunate opportunity to educate people from all around the world on current topics circulating through the space community, as well as, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Skye has hosted events at various schools, national conferences, and even at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. She has inspired kids and adults of all ages, backgrounds, and levels.

“I really love being able to educate people from all different walks of life, all across the globe, and at all different age levels. At each event, I always learn something new and I am always challenged. I am honored to be able to be apart of this amazing program that allows me to share my knowledge and passion of space exploration with the world.”
